Brothers and sisters: The schedule for the Feast of the Nativity According to the Flesh of Our Lord and God and Savior, Jesus Christ is now on the website calendar. Please look at the services and consider how much your life will be enriched by attending them. This is also an important time to receive the Holy Mystery of Confession. Just as Christ was born in a cave of a manger, so we all have a spiritual cave within our hearts which is often full of sin and vice. The way to prepare our hearts' cave is through the time honored medicine of fasting, prayer and repentance (confession).
We wouldn't receive Christmas guests to our tables in a filthy home. Why would we disrespect the most important Guest of the Feast by inviting Him into a heart cluttered by sins and passions? Please make it a point to confess before the Feast. Fr. Mark is available before and after all services and by appointment.
A blessed Nativity to all!
